Central Board of Secondary Education conducts Joint Entrance Exam every year. Hence JEE Main Result 2015 will be released by CBSE only. It will be available on the website of CBSE. The exam was conducted on 4 April 2015 and 10-11 April 2015. Result will decide whether the candidates can appear in next tier of Joint Entrance Exam, i.e. JEE Advanced 2015.
After the declaration of result, All India Rank will also be declared by JEE. Rank will be declared on the basis of their score in exam and XII class marks. Marks of JEE Main and Class XII, obtained after normalization, will be taken in 60:40 ratio for the declaration of ranks. Candidates those who qualify the exam will be able to take admission in many institutes like NITs, CFTIs, IIITs and various other institutes that consider JEE Main result as the basis for admission. The rank list is expected to be released on 7 July 2015.
Step to check JEE Main Result:
On the basis of JEE Main Results , approximately 150000 applicants will be shortlisted for the JEE Advanced exam 2015. Registration for JEE Advanced will be done in May 2015. Candidates will have to sign in using their JEE Main roll number and password to complete their registration process.
There were 90 questions in JEE Main 2015 exam which were divided in three sections that are physics, maths and chemistry. Each question was of 04 marks and in total, there was 360 marks. If in case candidate marks any incorrect answer then 1/4th marks will be deducted as per the negative marking scheme, i.e. 1 mark will be deducted for every incorrect answer. Therefore candidates are advised to leave the question if they are not sure about the answer as there is no negative marking for un attempted answers.

- To check their JEE Main Result 2015, candidates will have to visit the website of CBSE and click the link for result.
- Then they will have to enter their roll number and birth date. After submitting details, candidates can check their result.
- Candidates must download the respective JEE result and take its print. After the declaration of result, JEE Advanced 2015 cutoff will be issued by CBSE.
- Candidates can check the result from the direct links provided on the various website which will directly lead them to the result page.
- The link will be activated after the official declaration of result.
