KEAM (Kerala Engineering Agriculture Medical) 2016 Exam would be conducted by The Commissioner for Entrance Examination (CEE). KEAM 2016 Eligibility Criteria
KEAM 2016 Application Form
Candidates can fill the online application form from January 2016 onwards. They have to visit the official website of KEAM .in and enter all the asked details correct, complete, and valid. On registration, they would receive an application number and password which can be used to login and fill rest of the application form. Once the details are filled, verified, and corrected, they can proceed to pay the application fee and generate printout of the KEAM 2016 application form. They have to send the copy of the application form by registered or speed post to KEAM 2016 address.
Physical KEAM 2016 Application Form can be purchased from the designated post offices in Kerala. Candidates would be given a scratch card in which unique serial number and key number would be mentioned to make the payment. Fee for the application can be paid in online and offline mode. Online mode includes – credit/debit card and net-banking whereas in offline mode, candidates have to use the unique serial number and prepare a DD in favor of “Commissioner for Entrance Examinations”, payable at Thiruvananthapuram. Keep a copy of the DD safe with you for reference.
KEAM 2016 Exam Pattern for Engineering
Candidates can download the admit card from 2nd week of March 2016 onwards from the official website of the examination. They have to enter their application number and date of birth for this purpose. It is mandatory to bring the original admit card to the exam hall otherwise no permission to take the KEAM 2016 would be granted. Keep the admit card safe till the admissions are over because it would be asked to show the admit card at various stages.
KEAM 2016 Eligibility Criteria
- Age of the candidate should be at least 17 years.
- He should have scored at least 50% marks in his qualifying exam OR should have a diploma, minimum of three years, with at least 50% marks.
- Candidate must be an Indian citizen/POI/OCI. They would be further classified as Keralite, Non-Keralite (Cat 1), and Non-Keralite (Cat 2).
- Keralite – Born in Kerala and holding Kerala domicile. Wards of IAS officers, who are not Keralite, would be considered as “Deemed Keralite”.
- Non-Keralite (Category-I) – Not born in Kerala but passed qualifying exam from the state. It includes:
- Wards of Defense Personnel and Indian Government Employees (Posted in Kerala).
- Wards of Kerala government employee. Minimum service period – 2 years.
- Non – Keralite (Category-II) – These candidates would be considered in management quota on government seat.

KEAM 2016 Exam Pattern for Engineering
- KEAM 2016 Exam will be classified into two parts, paper-1 and paper-2.
- Questions in paper-1 would be asked from Physics and Chemistry.
- Questions in paper-2 would be asked from Mathematics.
- Candidates would be given 150 minutes to solve the exam.
- Total number of questions in the exam is 120.
- Total marks in the exam are 480.
