Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main 2016 is due on 3, 9 and 10 April 2016. The exam is held every year, for selection of the candidates into undergraduate engineering and architecture courses. The score of it is considered by most of the college in the nation as it is conducted by well know CBSE.
On 3 April, the exam will be held in offline mode and both Paper-I and Paper-II of JEE will be held on that day. However, on 9 and 10 April, only the Paper-I will be held because the exam will be held in online mode only and the provision to write Paper-II in online mode has not been provided by the conducting body.
The application procedure for JEE Main 2016 has ended. However, now the registered candidates can rectify or edit the filled information, till 31 January 2016. Through the application form correction portal, candidates can rectify all the errors in the filled information, except the exam center and mode of the exam. Those, who are satisfied with the submitted application form and information in it, can download the confirmation page from the official website.
In the month of March, probably in the 2nd week of it, registered candidates will be able to download the admit card of the exam. To download it candidates will have to submit the Application Number and the Password. Candidates must secure their admit card properly, as it will be required in various stages of admission.
The exam of JEE Main 2016 will be presented in Hindi and English language. It will be a three-hour exam, in which candidates will have to solve 90 questions of Physics, Mathematics, and Chemistry. All the questions will be of Multiple Choice Type and will carry 4 marks per question. For marking an incorrect answer, negative marking of 1/4 mark will be done in the exam.
