Symbiosis International University (SIU) has released the notification of SNAP 2017 exam. This year, SNAP is being conducted on December 17, 2017. Unlike last year when the exam was conducted in pen and paper mode, SNAP will be conducted in online mode this year. About SNAP
SNAP stand for Symbiosis National Aptitude Test. It is conducted by SIU for admissions to 15 SIU-affiliated colleges. This year, the exam has gone online. On the basis of SNAP scores, the candidates are shortlisted for post graduate management programmes offered by the participating colleges. Every year, around 60,000 candidates appear for SNAP 2017 exam.
SNAP 2017 Dates
It is important for the candidates to keep a track of SNAP 2017 dates. Given below are important dates for SNAP 2017 that the candidates must keep in mind -
SNAP registrations have started just a day after CAT application process. However, unlike CAT 2017 registrations that will end in September, SNAP Application Form process will continue till November 24. SNAP 2017 application forms must be submitted online. Along with the SNAP application form 2017, the candidates must submit an application fee of Rs. 1750. The fee can be paid online (Debit Card/ Credit Card/ Net Banking) or offline (Demand Draft).
As per the exam pattern of SNAP 2017, the exam will be divided into four sections. The duration of the exam will be two hours (120 minutes). Total number of questions asked in the exam will be 150. As far as the marking scheme is concerned, the candidates will be awarded one mark for every correct answer. There will also be negative marking in SNAP 2017 test. For every incorrect incorrect answer 0.25 mark will be deducted.
On the basis of SNAP 2017 scores, the candidates will be shortlisted for the next rounds of admission which comprise of Group Exercise, Personal Interview and Written Ability Test (GE-PIWAT). SIU is counted among the most prestigious universities in India. MBA programmes offered by SIU-affiliated colleges are very popular among the MBA aspirants.
