If a candidate fails to meet these terms, he shouldn’t fill the application form. If he does so, he wouldn’t be allowed to participate in the admission process. AIPGMEE 2016 Eligibility Criteria
Read all the terms of eligibility through these following points:
- Nationality
- Candidate must be an Indian Citizen.
- Age
- Age is no bar for the candidates.
- Candidate must have obtained MBBS degree.
- He must have obtained registration either from Medical Council of India or any other State Medical Council.
- He must have completed compulsory rotating internship.
- Registration with MCI/SMC is compulsory. Candidate must produce the documentary proof at the time of counselling, allotment, and admission in the allotted college.
- The candidates who have studied/passed MBBS from the states of Jammu & Kashmir, Andhra Pradesh, and Telangana are not eligible for examination and admission.
- Such candidates must submit a duly signed affidavit declaring that they was nominated by the Government of India (under central pool seats) to pursue MBBS from Medical Colleges of Jammu & Kashmir, Andhra Pradesh, and Telangana states.
- Candidate must have passed their MBBS degree course and completed compulsory rotating internship for the year 2016 on or before 31 October 2015.
- Colleges recognized after this date will not be considered for admission purpose.
- If a candidate, after passing MBBS, is undergoing 12 month compulsory rotating internship/practical training and is likely to complete it by 31 March 2016 can apply for the examination however they would be considered as eligible for admission only if they have completed the compulsory rotating internship and obtained full registration on or before 31 March 2016.
