NEET 2016 Counselling is the process where NEET qualified candidates will be offered admission on the available seats on the basis of performance in the examination. Only for document verification and confirmation of allotment, a candidate will be required to visit the venue in person. The aforesaid counselling bodies will conduct NEET 2016 Counselling in multiple rounds beginning from 2nd week of August 2016 and ending in the 2nd week of September 2016. For counselling, qualified candidates have to register on the official website of the examination and thereafter provide details of NEET Scorecard. The next step will be to mark choices of colleges and programs in the decreasing order of preference. Once these choices are entered and locked, candidate will be assessed for allotment. Some of the factors on which the allotment will be decided are – choices filled in the counselling, merit list ranking, availability of seats, and reservation norms.
Needless to say, since admissions will be done on the basis of merit, higher score in result will improve chances of desired allotment in NEET 2016 Counselling.
