KEAM 2016 Rank List is scheduled to be delivered on 25 June 2016. The candidates who appeared in the respective engineering entrance exam on 25 and 26 April 2016 will be able to check their rank in it. Kerala CEE (Kerala Commissioner of Entrance Examination), the exam and admissions governing body, will declare the rank list on its website for candidates to view and download. The basis of preparation of KEAM 2016 Rank List will be normalized score of the candidate, taken from KEAM 2016 and qualifying exam. The ratio in which marks of these two examinations will be considered is 50:50. Those who fail to submit their class XII score will not be given place in the KEAM 2016 Merit List. It may happen that two or more candidates obtain equal marks after normalization process; in this case the following tie breaker mechanism will be applied to assign a position in the rank list:
Call for counselling will be made in the order of appearance in the merit list. Lower rank means earlier call and thus preference in allotment on the available seats.

- Higher standardized score in physics – candidate with higher standardized score in physics in qualifying exam will be preferred
- Age – candidate with higher age will be preferred for assignment of rank in the KEAM 2016 Rank List
