Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) will issue the Karnataka CET (KCET) 2015 Result in online mode on its official website. All the candidates who attempted the UG entrance examination for getting admission in medical and engineering courses will be able to check the result by entering some basic details correctly. They will not be sent the result and scorecard in post or courier. The date of declaration of the result is yet to be announced by the exam governing body. Candidates will be given a week to bring into notice the discrepancies in the answer key, if any. Along with the results, correct answer key as well as names of the candidates whose result has been held back will be issued. If a candidate has an objection except in the marks allotted, he can submit his objections within three days from the date of publication of the result.
Those candidates whose results are halted due to incomplete documents set will be issued marks and rank only after the submission of necessary missing documents in speed post or person. The candidates who are able to cross the cutoff benchmark will be included in a merit list. This list will contain their names in the order of marks. Higher the marks imply lower rank in the list. This in turn means better chances of getting the desired allotment. To get listed, it is required to score KCET Result marks in equal to or more than the cutoff. All the candidates who are successful in doing so will be called for the next stages of admission – counselling and allotment. Merit list and result will be hosted on the official website of KEA as well as Entrance Corner. Read the article for more such information on result and the steps to check it.
