JEE Main 2016 Cutoff is the minimum score set by CBSE to restrict the number of candidates in B.Tech admission process through JEE Main 2016 Exam. It will be applied on the score obtained in the examination to decide selection in the next round of selection process, counselling or allotment, as the case maybe. Those who are able to score marks more than or equal to the cutoff will be termed as qualified. The selected candidates will be arranged in the merit list in the decreasing order of marks. The list will be issued separately for every category of the candidates.
JEE Main 2016 Cuttoff will be issued with the declaration of result, due in July 2016. Till then, candidates can check the last year cutoff statistics to evaluate their chance of admission in various colleges and streams. Call for counselling will be made in the order of ranking in the merit list. Candidates with lower rank will get early call for counselling and allotment. It is important to note here that cutoff for admission in various colleges’ programs is different from cutoff for qualifying for admission process.
