GATE is one of the prestigious exams in country. It is an exam in which candidates of engineering stream are tested for their understanding in different subjects. Those who have completed their undergraduate engineering studies can appear in the exam however, appearing also eligible. GATE score is considered for providing admission to candidates in various colleges for post graduation courses. The marks scored by the candidates are mentioned in GATE 2015 Score Card. It will be released only for the candidates those who qualify the exam.
The candidates scoring marks equal to or more than the cutoff or qualifying marks will only be allowed to download the score card. It will be available on the website of GATE from 27 March 2015 to 29 March 2015. Any application requesting for GATE 2015 Score Card via post or any other mode will not be entertained by the board. Candidates will have to login to website and download it.
The candidates those who are downloading their score card must take multiple copies of it and keep it safe with them as this score or score card will be valid to them for next three months. GATE 2015 Score Card will be containing score of the candidate, their registration number, All India Rank, actual score out of 100, etc.
If candidates want to know about their marks then they can make use of answer key which is released after the commencement of the exam. Candidates can use it and check their answers to calculate their approximate marks. It is the only method through which candidates can calculate their approx marks. However it must not be considered final until the official declaration of result.
In 2015, the highest number of applicants were for disciplines of EC, EE, ME,CS, CE. The session allocation was done randomly keeping in mind the number of candidates appearing in each session.
Calculation of candidate's normalized marks in GATE 2015 will be done on the basis of raw or original marks scored by the candidates in these disciplines. The score of candidates in GATE 2015 Score Card will be done on the basis of normalized marks.
